The Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake & Sandy is a water wholesaler.  This means that we are not the ones responsible for delivering water to your home.  We sell water to various cities and counties (Salt Lake City, Sandy City, and Salt Lake County) and they deliver it to your house.  We have an eight-mile stretch of 69 inch concrete pipe that serves as a distribution system between the plant and our two finished water reservoirs.  From there, water is delivered to the cities and counties.
