Filtration |
|
The water that comes over the sedimentation weirs is then filtered. Filtration removes any particles remaining in the water. The filter is made up of two layers: sand, and anthracite coal. As the water flows down through each layer, any remaining particles are removed since they will stick to the surface of the sand and the anthracite. |
